Direct Agents made a big splash at our exhibit space at ASW 2012 in Las Vegas this past week. With an attendance of over 5,000, this year was the biggest Affiliate Summit to date.At the show, we had the opportunity to meet with top players in the performance marketing industry, revitalizing connections, and learning about the latest trends in email, mobile, and social media advertising.
Sunday’s Meet Market event started off with a bang – alive and buzzing all day long with affiliates from around the world. ASW has definitely progressed to a more professional atmosphere; there is much more of an agency presence in comparison to the traditional affiliate the industry is known for. Marketers are savvy, presentable, and more forward-facing than ever before. We were quick to recognize the exploding demand for campaigns in the mobile space, an area that Direct Agents has been expanding to in 2012 with great results.
The following 2 days of the event brought on several interesting key note speeches and countless connections with new media providers. And as usual, the evening networking events and after parties gave us a chance to enjoy all the nightlife that Vegas has to offer and solidify our relationships on a personal level as well. Overall, the event was highly successful – the contacts we gained will undoubtedly fuel strong growth as we move into the New Year.
